The Research Trends of the Journal of Occupational Therapy for the Aged and Dementia: From 2007 to 2017

Abstract
Objective : The purpose of this study aimed to analyze published research papers in the Journal of Occupational Therapy for the Aged and Dementia from 2007 to 2017.

Method : Articles published from 2007 to 2017 were surveyed, and a descriptive analysis was used to determine the information of research, level of evidence, and research participants.

Result : The analysis outcomes of the this study were as follows. The most frequent number of research was 2 researchers per research(34.53%), and principal researchers were professors(49.64%). The most frequent level of evidence was level ¥³(56.8%). The most common diagnoses were stroke(44.60%) and Dementia(41.89%). The most common Research Participants Place of searching information is occupational therapy institutions.

Conclusion : This study showed the research trends of the Journal of Occupational Therapy for the Aged and Dementia, and analyzed the research information of research, level of evidence, and research participants. These results will help readers know the research trends in the Aged and Dementia of occupational therapy, and will be able to contribute to the amount of evidence available.
